Happy May to all of you. I have tulips and daffodils in my yard, so in my book, this means spring is finally here. I do have a theory tho, for those of you that want to hear it……Last year, it rained every Wednesday. This year it is raining every Thursday. So, by the year 2012, it will rain every Monday and by the weekend we’ll have awesome ground to run on.

NO CANCELLATIONS, WOHOO!!!

Please take a look at the schedule as there are a few changes. The three runs we have scheduled at the Event Center in Lincoln, June 8, July 13, and August 10, will be double runs. The first run starts at 11:00, the second run will follow. We’ll take a 30 minute break between the two. Exhibitions will be from 9:30-10:30, and there will be no exhibitions between the two runs.

Several people have talked to me about their desire to go to the Barrel Bash in Topeka Sept 5-7. Therefore, I am taking our Sept 6 run off the schedule at this time. There is still a Purina run that weekend for those of you that are not going to Topeka. This leaves 18 runs in our schedule. If we have more rain cancellations, I’ll find a place to put in another run.

When I receive more information on the run on June 29 in Sioux City, I’ll pass that along to all of you.

Susan Swanson is in the process of getting the state website switched over so she can manage it. When she gets this done, she will have a link to print off the entry forms and rules for the State Finals. I’ll let you all know when this information is posted.
